Bonafide is an asset manager that focuses exclusively on companies in the fish & seafood sector and their value chain. Bonafide has set itself the goal of promoting the growth of sustainable food production and therefore brings companies in the industry together with investors who have recognised the enormous potential of the Blue Revolution.

Professional experience:
Martin Janser is the president of the board of directors and a member of the investment committee. Additionally, he serves as the President of the Board of Directors of Janser Holding AG, a family-owned company. Previously, he worked for several major banks in asset management and investment consulting and was responsible for research and portfolio management of the Bonafide funds for many years. Martin Janser holds a degree in business administration and an MAS in real estate management.

Key competencies & experience:
Extensive experience in portfolio and risk management. Development and administration of a portfolio consisting of real estate properties, construction sites, and the creation of new real estate projects for the Janser Group. He oversees the financial investments of the entire Janser Group and monitors the investment processes and associated risks.

Professional experience:
Christoph Baldegger is a founding member and a member of the Board of Directors at Bonafide. From 2004 to 2008, he was a member of the executive team of a private equity firm, jointly responsible for developing tangible asset investments in sectors such as fish farming, farmland, and timber. From 1998 to 2004, he lent his expertise in research, corporate development, consulting, and as a fund manager at various Swiss private banks. From 1990 to 1998, he worked as an investment banker in Switzerland and London. Subsequently, he took the leap into self-employment and founded Bonafide. For many years, he worked in sales and was also a part of the Investment Committee. Christoph Baldegger is a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA).

Key competencies & experience:
Experience in aquaculture and fisheries; participated in the FBA Aquaculture Course for fish farming; holds his own fishing license; international industry experience; development of aquaculture in South America; leadership and marketing skills; development of Bonafide and launch of the Bonafide Global Fish Fund.

Professional experience:
Gilbert Vergères is a member of the Board of Directors. In 1998, he became self-employed and served as CEO and board member of an asset management company until 2013. His primary responsibilities included client services, managing the company's proprietary investment fund, and research. He has worked for various Swiss private banks in equity trading, arbitrage trading, and fund trading. Additionally, he was responsible for client services in the areas of securities, Eurex trading, and structured products. At Bonafide, he spent many years working in portfolio management and sales.

Key competencies & experience:
Extensive experience in private equity and portfolio management, along with a vast expertise in structuring and managing fund structures.

With over 20 years of experience in the Swiss finance and asset management industry, Marco Fiorini has built an impressive track record in sales, business development, and management roles. His expertise in negotiations, international and jurisdictional know-how, and the development of long-term business partnerships has enabled him to establish a robust network of clients in Switzerland, including family offices, distribution platforms, banks, and asset managers.

Key competencies & experience:
Marco Fiorini is an experienced Global Key Account Manager in the financial industry. His skills span sales and business development, where he has successfully managed complex relationships with various stakeholders, particularly major Swiss banks and international platforms. He consistently takes into account the individual needs of his clients and achieves their objectives. Additionally, Marco possesses extensive expertise in investment strategies, including long-term equity and bond strategies, Absolute Return strategies, and alternative investments. This enables him to adapt flexibly to the requirements of different clients and fulfill their financial goals. Through his results-driven approach and teamwork, Marco has built strong and enduring relationships with clients. His ongoing interest in financial markets and asset management drives him to continually seek new opportunities to foster growth and cultivate long-lasting client relationships.

Professional experience:
Marco Berweger is the Managing Director responsible for the Marketing & Sales team. After completing his banking apprenticeship, he worked in various positions for a Swiss regional bank from 2014 to 2020, where he worked in client advice, investment consultancy, marketing, and compliance. He also served as an assistant to the bank management and was a member of the bank's young talent development programme. He holds a bachelor's degree in banking & finance from the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons and is currently working towards the MSc in Banking & Finance with a specialisation in Capital Markets and Data Science.

Key competencies & experience:
Several years' experience in client advice, marketing and the full range of financial sector services. Communication talent, creative mind.

Professional experience:
Philipp Hämmerli is the managing director responsible for the portfolio management and research team. Before joining Bonafide in spring 2018, he worked for Liechtensteinische Landesbank (LLB) in the institutional clients business for five years. His main activities included advising fund clients on banking, stock market and fund-related topics. His entry into finance began in 2007 with a classical banking apprenticeship. His affinity for the world markets intensified as a junior trader for a Swiss regional bank, where he dedicated himself to the execution of stock exchange and foreign exchange transactions, refinancing and liquidity management, among other things. He holds a bachelor's degree in banking & finance from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences.

Key competencies & experience:
Expert in financial analysis of companies, especially in the fish & seafood universe. Several years of experience with fund structures, especially the versatile duties of fund custodianship. Broad specialist knowledge in trading in securities, foreign exchange and money market transactions.

Professional experience:
Noah Gall works as an analyst in the research team and in portfolio management. After more than 10 years at Swiss and Liechtenstein banks in the areas of risk management, compliance, client advisory services (private clients and institutional fund clients), he most recently worked as a member of the executive board of a Swiss regional bank. He was responsible for compliance, risk management, controlling and services. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance from Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences and a DAS Bank Management.

Christoph Beierl is part of the research department at Bonafide. He holds a master's degree in banking & finance from the University of St. Gallen and is currently seeking CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification. After initial experience in sell-side research, he is now responsible for sustainability research at Bonafide.

Erhard Christelbauer is in charge of the areas of legal, risk management and compliance. Specialised in regulatory compliance he focuses on the sustainable development of the corporation. In his long professional engagement in the financial industry, he took up diverse functions in the fields of legal, compliance and risk management, controlling and accounting, and process and project management. Erhard holds master’s degrees in Law and Business Administration.

Professional experience:
Sabrina Beso works in accounting and personnel administration. She completed her commercial apprenticeship in an international SME in the field of optosensors. After her education, she worked in the same company as a purchasing assistant from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, she moved internally to the Finance department, where her job evolved from Controlling Assistant to Junior Controller. In this function, she was responsible for reporting, budgeting and year-end statements, as well as accounts payable and accounts receivable. She graduated with a degree in business administration from the ibW University of Applied Sciences in Chur.

Many years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable. Increasing know-how in payroll and general personnel administration
